The William Chrisman girls’ softball team took some tough losses on Tuesday losing to Oak Park 7-3 on varsity and 3-1 on JV.
Although both teams took a loss, both played competitively and showed progression both in the field and from behind the plate.
Sophomore Adrianna Solary had an impressive showing from behind the plate hitting her third homerun of the year, going 3-for-3 at the plate, while Junior Bre Poston also hit the ball well going 2-for-3 with a double.
“I saw the ball well and was just making solid contact last night,” said Solary, who’s been hot at the plate with two homeruns in two games.
JV also played well on the night as Junior Taylor Brim had a strong showing in giving up only three runs through seven innings and also hitting an inside the park homerun.
“Taylor played well last night, she showed potential for the future,” said Freshman Bailey Duban who also hit the ball well, going 2 for 3 with a double on the night.
The girls look to recover from the loss at they playSt. Teresa’s Academy on Wednesday and Liberty North on Thursday.
